ABOUT
The cappellino oil has a typically Italian history. A story that comes in the heart of Calabria, a small traditional mill, and arrives today on our tables, bringing with them an unbroken tradition, made of passion, quality and family.
WHAT WE DO
The organic farm "Francesco Cappellino" covers an area of about 20 hectares, mainly located in the municipality of Belvedere di Spinello, presents farmhouses placed in the various municipalities neighboring: Caccuri, Verzino, Castelsilano boasting the specification DOP of ALTO CROTONESE. Thanks to the Mediterranean climate and soil and climatic conditions of the area is produced quality oil by 4 generations.
FAMILY TRADITION
A family-run company mainly run by two well-experts agrarian (my brothers) who, together with our father run the company. The agricultural complex boasts centuries-old olive trees that with the right care They provide a good and excellent production.
MADE IN ITALY
The oil is obtained from the Calabrian native cultivars carolea, pennulara and ottobratica, that give to the product a unique fruity taste and the color straw yellow with light green that reflects all its qualities.
100% BIO
The company produces exclusively a biological oil, the harvest is before the drupes are completely ripe and are detached from plant early and no later than 10 December, so you manage to get an oil with a low acidity, and a fair number of peroxides; the olives are processed within 24 hours of collection; They are stored in ventilated containers so as not to suffer any fermentation and no sensory impairment.
